On Second Thought is published three times a year by the North Dakota Humanities Council. It’s free and enlightening. To subscribe simply join our mailing list. However, donations to support the magazine and the council are always appreciated.

An extension of NDHC humanities programming, the goal of the On Second Thought magazine is to create and continue conversation across the state. The publication features thought-provoking articles that offer deeper insight into a particular issue.
